Off Grid at Barrine

Scope: Red Dog Power got approached to design and quote a standalone power system is an alternative to a costly Ergon power connection. The idea was to use the existing shed to house all equipment and run a submain to the house that was yet to be build.

Main equipment: 48x 370W Canadian Solar panels, 1x Fronius Symo 8.2kW, 2x Victron SmartSolar Controllers 150/80, 3x Victron Multiplus II 5000VA, 9x Pylontech US3000C lithium batteries. (plus cabinet, controllers, circuit protection, switchboards…)

Outcome: A 3phase standalone power system suitable for a modern house, solar array with enough capacity to fully charge batteries 99% of the time, generator back up, full remote monitoring and control by Red Dog Power.
